As the build season continues, our drive train/chassis team has started assembling the basics. We get to do the ever so “fun” gearbox building. This includes getting your hands all greased up, assembling and disassembling (x5), and of course the joy of finally finishing. When it’s the end of the night and your eyes and fingers are spent, the satisfaction of screwing in the last bolt and putting in the last tweaks is, by no other words, “pure happiness”. But honestly, I love the tediousness of building these gearboxes. They keep your mind busy while also adding just enough irritation to keep you going.
